Opiskelijat ja opettajatkin ovat olleet innolla mukana peltoprojektissa ja pellolla on järjestetty jopa liikuntatunteja. Eri koulutusalueet yhdistävä toiminta tukee hienosti tulevaisuuden ammattitaitoja ja uskomme, että näin voi jopa syntyä uusia ammattinimikkeitä.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Pelto ja Malmin kampus tuottavat tulevaisuudessa sato-osuuksien haltijoille myös muita virikkeitä, mahdollisuuksia osallistua kaupunkiviljelyyn, ruoanvalmistukseen sekä tietysti vuosittaiseen Kekrijuhlaan, Åke vinkkaa.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Green City Farmin  pelto tuottaa satoa ja hyvinvointia

Se tiivistää myös fiksusti olemassa olevaa kaupunkirakennetta.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;s1&quot; data-bl-inline=&quot;true&quot;&gt;Täydennysrakentaminen on kaupungistumisen kiihtyessä ekologisesti kestävää ja taloudellisesti järkevää, koska infra ja palvelut ovat täydennysrakennettavilla alueilla jo olemassa. Monessa kasvukeskuksessa on meneillään myös ratahankkeita, jolloin täydennysrakentaminen tarjoaa mahdollisuuden saattaa yhä suurempi joukko asukkaita toimivan julkisen liikenteen lähettyville. Täydennysrakentaminen on julkisen sektorin näkökulmasta taloudellinen vaihtoehto, sillä se ei edellytä merkittäviä lisäinvestointeja infraan. Näin se tukee kestävää kehitystä.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Gigantin myymälät ovat olleet virallisia sähkö- ja elektroniikkajätteen vastaanottopisteitä vuodesta 2004. Se tarkoittaa, että myymälöiden yhteydessä oleviin kierrätyspisteisiin voi palauttaa maksutta kaikki vanhat kierrätettävät sähkölaitteet.&lt;span class=&quot;Apple-converted-space&quot; data-bl-inline=&quot;true&quot;&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Sähkö- ja elektroniikkalaiteromut on syytä viedä kierrätykseen, jotta ne eivät päädy kuormittamaan luontoa. Gigantin ekokuljetuskumppani A2B kuljettaa 30 autolla, joista 28 pakettiautoa kulkee kotimaisella jätteistä tehdyllä biokaasulla ja kaksi sähköautoa tuulivoimalla – pääkaupunkiseudulla ja Tampereen alueella.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;– Emme peri ekokuljetuksista ekologisen kuljetuksen lisää, jotta hinta ei muodostu esteeksi kotiinkuljetuksen tilaamiselle tai ympäristösäästöille.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Saarinen muistuttaa, että Gigantti noutaa toki myös uuden tuotteen kotiinkuljetuksen yhteydessä vanhat laitteet asiakkaalta, mutta se on maksullinen palvelu. Teemme myös kerran kuussa Kuusakosken kanssa tilannekatsauksen, jossa käymme läpi, kuinka voisimme entisestään tehostaa kuljetuksia heidän suuntaansa. Iso kiitos henkilöstöllemme, joka on sisäistänyt vihreät arvot todella hienosti, Saarinen kiittelee.&lt;/p&gt;
